Introduction
Diffusion air flotation is another form of clarification process that relies on float particles to float to the surface instead of gravity settling. It is suitable for raw water streams of special quality-usually low turbidity, colored water, otherwise it is difficult to treat with precipitation.

Application
In order to save factory costs and footprint requirements, it can also be combined with gravity filtration (called dissolved air flotation-filtration (WAF)) in the same structure.
