How to improve the flotation efficiency of Daf flotation equipment

2025-04-14
To improve the flotation efficiency of Daf flotation equipment, you can start from the following aspects:
1. Optimize the dissolved air system
The dissolved air effect directly affects the flotation efficiency. Ensure that the pressure and temperature in the dissolved air tank are stable within the appropriate range. Generally, the pressure is controlled at 0.3-0.5MPa and the temperature is around 20-30℃. Check the water level of the dissolved air tank regularly to prevent the water level from being too high or too low and affecting the dissolved air effect. At the same time, maintain the dissolved air pump to ensure its normal operation and provide a stable dissolved air water flow.
2. Adjust the dosage of the agent
According to the water quality characteristics of the sewage, select appropriate flocculants and coagulants, and optimize the dosage. The best type and dosage of the agent are determined through experiments. Generally, the dosage of flocculants is 5-50mg/L, and the dosage of coagulants is 1-10mg/L. At the same time, pay attention to the order of adding the reagents and the mixing method to ensure that the reagents and sewage are fully mixed and reacted to form a good floc structure.
3. Improve equipment operating parameters
Reasonably control the inlet flow rate and residence time of sewage. Generally, the inlet flow rate should be adjusted according to the processing capacity of the equipment, and the residence time is about 20-30 minutes. In addition, adjust the running speed of the scraper so that it can scrape off the scum in time without causing excessive disturbance to the flotation layer.
4. Strengthen equipment maintenance
Regularly check the various components of the equipment, such as the releaser, scraper, dissolved gas tank, etc., to ensure their normal operation. Clean the impurities and dirt in the equipment in time to prevent blockage and scaling. Replace the worn parts of the equipment in time to ensure the stable performance of the equipment.
5. Optimize water quality pretreatment

Pretreatment of sewage entering the flotation equipment, such as adjusting the pH value and removing large suspended solids, can improve the flotation efficiency. Generally speaking, the pH value of sewage should be controlled between 6-9 to facilitate the action of flocculants and the attachment of bubbles and particles.
