How to use the Air floatation device

2025-05-08
The following is the general method of using the Air floatation device:
1. Preparation
Inspect the equipment: Before use, check whether all parts of the Air floatation device are intact, including the dissolved air tank, releaser, scraper, pipeline valve, etc., to ensure that there are no damage, leakage and other problems. At the same time, check whether the electrical system and control system are normal, and whether the parameters can be accurately displayed by each instrument.
Debugging parameters: According to the properties and treatment requirements of the sewage to be treated, determine the appropriate process parameters, such as dissolved air pressure, dissolved air time, and dosage of reagents. Through small-scale tests, optimize these parameters to provide a basis for formal operation.
Prepare reagents: According to the design requirements, prepare the required flocculants, coagulants and other reagents, and ensure that the quality and storage conditions of the reagents meet the requirements.
2. Sewage pretreatment
Adjust water quality: Introduce the sewage to be treated into the regulating tank, and adjust its pH value, water temperature, suspended solids concentration and other indicators to meet the water inlet requirements of the Air floatation device. For example, by adding acid-base regulators, adjust the pH value of the sewage to a suitable range to improve the flotation effect.
Removal of large particle impurities: Use pretreatment equipment such as screens and grit chambers to remove large suspended solids, sand and gravel in sewage to prevent these impurities from entering the Air floatation device, blocking pipes or wearing equipment.
3. Air floatation treatment
Dosing of agents: Before the sewage enters the Air floatation device, accurately add flocculants and coagulants according to the set dosage to condense the fine particle pollutants in the sewage into larger flocs.
Dissolved air and released: Turn on the dissolved air system to dissolve air in water to form saturated dissolved air water. Then, the dissolved air water is decompressed and released through the releaser, so that the dissolved air precipitates in the form of tiny bubbles, which fully contact and adhere to the flocs in the sewage.
Air floatation separation: The flocs attached with bubbles rise to the water surface under the action of buoyancy to form a scum layer. The clean water flows downward under the action of gravity and is discharged through the drainage system to achieve solid-liquid separation.
4. Scum treatment
Scum scraping: Start the scraper regularly to scrape the scum layer into the scum tank and collect it for further treatment, such as dehydration, landfill or incineration.

Equipment cleaning: During operation, clean the Air floatation device regularly to remove impurities and dirt attached to the inside of the equipment to prevent their accumulation and affect the treatment effect.
