Dissolved Air System
The dissolved air system is the foundation of DAF flotation separation. Its primary function is to efficiently dissolve air in water to form dissolved air water.
- The air pump pressurizes water and delivers it to the air dissolution tank
- The air compressor simultaneously injects air into the system
- Under specific pressure and temperature conditions, air fully dissolves in water
A high-quality dissolved air system ensures efficient air dissolution and produces highly concentrated dissolved air water, ensuring the subsequent release of bubbles and adsorption of pollutants.
Flocculation System
The flocculation system aggregates fine pollutants in the water into flocs that are easily absorbed by bubbles.
- The chemical dosing device precisely controls flocculant amount and ensures even mixing
- Optimal agitation intensity and residence time in the reaction tank
- Forms flocs with stable structure and appropriate particle size
Proper flocculation system operation is essential for efficient subsequent flotation separation and effluent quality.
Flotation Separation System
The flotation separation system is the core area for separating pollutants from the water.
- The bubble releaser depressurizes dissolved air to release fine, uniform micro-bubbles
- Bubbles contact and adhere to flocculated flocs within the flotation tank
- Bubbles carry flocs to the surface, forming scum for removal
The flotation tank's structural design, water flow control, and bubble releaser performance directly impact separation efficiency.
Sludge and Debris Discharge System
This system is responsible for promptly removing sludge generated by flotation separation and deposited sludge.
- The scraper moves slowly along the flotation tank surface
- Scrapes rising scum to the discharge port for removal
- Sludge removal device prevents accumulation at tank bottom
Regular sludge removal prevents re-dissolution and maintains effective treatment space utilization.
