DAF Installation Guide
Proper installation procedures for Dissolved Air Flotation Devices to ensure optimal performance
Installation Overview
Installing a Dissolved Air Flotation Device requires careful attention to multiple details to ensure its subsequent stable operation and optimal treatment efficiency.
1 Site Selection & Preparation
The site should be flat and have sufficient load-bearing capacity to support the weight of the device and the wastewater it will process. Additionally, the site needs to be well-ventilated to prevent the accumulation of harmful gases.
2 Component Assembly
Each part, such as the air dissolving tank, flotation tank, and scum skimming mechanism, should be installed in the correct position as specified by the manufacturer.
3 Pipeline Connection
The inlet and outlet pipelines of the device should be connected smoothly to ensure unobstructed water flow. Valves installed on the pipelines should be easy to operate and have good sealing performance.
4 Electrical System Installation
Wires and cables should be laid neatly and protected from damage. Electrical components should be installed in dry areas to prevent short circuits caused by moisture.
Critical Installation Considerations
Alignment Check
Check alignment of components to avoid issues like uneven water flow or poor air-water mixing
Leak Prevention
Tightening of fasteners should be done properly to prevent leaks, especially at the joints of tanks and pipes
Airtightness
Pipelines related to air supply must be checked for airtightness to avoid air leakage
