Stable influent water quality: Ensure that the sewage quality entering the DAF flotation equipment is relatively stable to avoid sudden changes in water quality that may impact the equipment. Regularly test the pH value, suspended solids concentration, chemical oxygen demand and other indicators of sewage. If the water quality fluctuates greatly, the front-end pretreatment process needs to be adjusted in time to prevent negative impact on the flotation effect.
Prevent impurity blockage: Strictly control large particle impurities and fiber materials in the influent water. These impurities may block key parts such as dissolved air releasers and pipelines, affecting the normal operation of the equipment. Set up appropriate pretreatment facilities such as grids and filters at the inlet end and clean them regularly.
2. Key points for the use of reagents
Correct selection and ratio: According to the characteristics of sewage water quality, accurately select appropriate flocculants and coagulants. Strictly configure the solution according to the prescribed reagent ratio. Improper ratio will reduce the flocculation effect and lead to incomplete flotation separation.
Addition amount control: Pay close attention to changes in water quality and adjust the amount of reagents added in time. If the amount added is too little, the pollutants cannot be effectively flocculated; if the amount added is too much, it will not only waste reagents and increase operating costs, but may also cause secondary pollution and affect the subsequent treatment of water quality.
3. Equipment operation and maintenance
Regular inspection: Arrange special personnel to inspect the equipment regularly and check the operating conditions of each component. Pay attention to whether the sound and vibration of equipment such as dissolved air pumps and scrapers are abnormal, check whether there are leaks in pipes and valves, and promptly discover and solve potential problems.
Dissolved air system maintenance: The dissolved air system is the core of the flotation equipment. Regularly clean the dissolved air tank, check the oil level and filter of the air compressor, etc. to ensure the stability of dissolved air efficiency. If the dissolved air pressure fluctuates, the cause of the fault must be promptly investigated and repaired.
Scraper maintenance: Ensure that the tension of the scraper chain is appropriate, lubricate the transmission components regularly, prevent scraper wear, chain derailment and other faults, ensure smooth scraping operation, and effectively remove scum.
4. Safe operation
Protective measures: During the operation of the equipment, the operator must wear protective equipment such as safety helmets, protective gloves, goggles, etc. to avoid injuries during operation.
Electrical safety: The equipment involves many electrical components. It is strictly forbidden to operate electrical equipment with wet hands. Check the electrical circuits regularly to prevent safety accidents caused by aging and short circuits. Obvious safety warning signs should be set up around the equipment to prevent unauthorized personnel from approaching.
